Im hoOooOomee...

Hullo.

Wow....a week and a half of travelling is really something to be proud of. Its soo tiring. I have so much more respect for backpackers now. And all that low-budget hotel places are abit icky. I had a resident mouse in one of my rooms one of the nights. Rather, ummm.... unusual, shall we say? Two out of the three nights I spent on the overnight train was accompanied by a small cockroach. That was more scary than anything. ew. roaches. I hate roaches.

All in all a rather interesting experience. At the end of all the hullaballoo I got to meet up with some of my relos who live in Singapore. Yea, it was kinda fun except that theyre all old, so my grand-aunt and grand-uncle whom I visited yesterday afternoon were abit grumpy, prolly cos I was encroaching into their daily afternoon nap. Meh. Hard to satisfy old people...In the evening I visited another grand-aunt. She has 8 cats. wooo o.o; lol. cute though.

And yea, Tet. It was sooooo nice to see him again. It was really odd, having him in my country. Like....hm. I dunno. But it was nice. I really appreciate him wanting to learn about my culture, background, upbringing.... it shows that he's really striving to get to know me better. Hehehe. And yea, its cool now all my friends have met him as well. ^^ yay. Anyways, I do apologise for my lack of input. I will chuck in more trash now that Im back. 2 more weeks till I touch the shores of Australia. Im really excited! Well yknow what they say.... the grass is always greener on the other side. How true, how true.

Anyways..back to checking my emails. Man... why do people send so much junk. +.+

Well. The day is finally here. Tet will arrive in about 23 hours. Im kinda nervous... I know I shouldnt be. But I dunno. I just am. I tend to be like this. Like if I go on holiday for awhile and like after a month or so walk into church, I get abit nervous. Just .... unpredictability I guess. I dunno what it is.

Man... I've got acrobatic gorillas in my stomach now. +.+

Take my advice.

My sister was eating pan mee (a chinese noodle dish, my absolute favourite!) this afternoon and Cheemos (the cat) was being a pest as usual. She, after much persistence, managed to stick her muzzle into some of the soup. I suppose that should have been a sort of indicator to me that about 28376349381032673 bacteria was swimming around in the leftover noodles 4 hours later. Which I happily gulped down. And unhappily crapped out like half an hour later.

Moral of the story: Don't eat leftovers that have been meddled with by your pets.

As for JarsOfClay, Ive decided to keep their album for listening in the bus on my 6 hour journey-ride to Singapore to meet Tet at his arrival. Which, incidently, is 2 days away. :D *choir*

Wounded world...

So many hurts in the world. Everyone goes through some pain and suffering, but some carry heavier burdens and experience a far deeper pain than any of us could even imagine. Results of a corruption that lies buried within the rotting souls of humanity. But sometimes not. They try so hard to be strong, and to what avail? How can we even live with ourselves, just watching the world go by. A world whose searing wounds are beyond a mere mortal's understanding.

I live so much in denial. My world is so perfect that I forget to look outside my window to see how the rest of the world is going. Even the problems that crack my walls are nothing compared to the raging war in the world....so caught up in my own worries that I built concrete layers between myself and reality. How little I know of the world. How young are my wounds compared to that of the world's. And yet, who's pain is greater? And yet, whos to say?

lol. I havent listened to it yet. Im almost afraid to find out whats inside...would they have changed so significantly from what I used to adore and admire?

Meanwhile, I also managed to find another book on Christian Relationships. Hopefully I'll actually read it, and apply it in my life. From the cover and introduction, the author doesnt seem to be from any cult of any kind. Hope that this book will teach me and encourage me to live in a way that is pure and pleasing to Him. Hehehe...

Hmz. The frustration of dealing with HTML is over, but so is any spinkling of purpose of being online. So unproductive. Im getting off. :p

Btw; saw Lion Dance today. The acrobatic one. The lion was soOoo cute!!!! I think its like my favourite animal now. The lion from Chinese New Year Lion Dances. lol. Its amazing how the acrobats give the puppet so much character!! Im really so amazed and amused. lol.
